Dozy

Terms of use

Effective 2 October 2026

Dozy is licensed to you under Apple's standard license agreement. This page explains, in plain words, how Dozy Plus works and what to know before you rely on an alarm.

The license

The iOS app "Dozy: Cozy Pet Alarm Clock" is made by Idan Rokach. It is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). That agreement is the contract between you and us for the app. The notes below add to it and do not replace it.

What is free

These parts of Dozy are free forever: one alarm, one mission per alarm, the three free missions (Smile at Dozy, Shake Dozy awake, Count the acorns), three alarm sounds, streaks, the progress calendar, the share card, the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the starter decor and most of the burrow shop.

Acorns are earned by getting up. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and they have no cash value.

Dozy Plus

Dozy Plus adds unlimited alarms, all nine missions, up to three missions on one alarm, the wake-up check, five more alarm sounds and a few Plus decor items. There are three ways to get it:

These are US prices. The price in your country is shown in the app before you buy.

The free trial

The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged the yearly price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Apple offers the trial once, to new subscribers.

Renewal and cancelling

"Restore purchases" is in the paywall and in Settings. Use it after you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone.

Please read this before you rely on an alarm

Dozy is an aid to getting up. It is not a guarantee that you will wake up. It uses Apple's AlarmKit and needs iOS 26 or later, and there are things neither Dozy nor we control. An alarm may not ring, or may be too quiet to wake you, if:

Before your first real morning, use "Test my alarm". It rings your alarm in 10 seconds, through the same path as a real alarm, so you can check the permission and the volume.

Do not rely on Dozy as your only safeguard for something critical, such as a flight, an exam or a shift you cannot miss. Set a second alarm on something else.

An alarm in Dozy can always be ended. Holding "Hold to give up" for 3 seconds ends it, and it gives up by itself after 10 returns or 45 minutes. An alarm that has ended this way does not come back, so do not count on it after that.

No medical claims

Dozy is an alarm clock. It is not a medical device, and it makes no claims about your health or your sleep. Some missions ask you to move (walking, squats). Do them only if they are safe for you. You can always pick a different mission.
