My alarm did not ring

Check these three things, then run "Test my alarm" (in the alarm editor and in Settings). It rings your alarm in 10 seconds, through the same path as a real alarm.

• The Alarms permission. Open the Settings app, find Dozy, and make sure Alarms is allowed. Without it Dozy cannot ring.
• Your volume. Dozy rings on Silent and in a Focus, but a very low volume can still be too quiet to wake you.
• Your iOS version. Dozy needs iOS 26 or later.

If it still does not ring, please email me and say which iPhone and iOS version you have.

How do I stop an alarm I cannot finish?

There is always a way out.

• "Can't do this one?" swaps the mission for Count the acorns (sums on a big number pad).
• "Hold to give up": hold it for 3 seconds. The alarm ends. It counts as a missed morning and earns no acorns.

The alarm also gives up by itself after 10 returns or 45 minutes.

Why did my alarm come back?

That is how Dozy works. If you stop the alert without doing the mission, the alarm comes back after about a minute. If you leave the app in the middle of a mission, it comes back after about 15 seconds. Finish the mission and it stops.

Do camera missions save or send what they see?

No. Smile at Dozy, Open the curtains and Fetch look at camera frames on your iPhone and then discard them. Nothing is saved, and nothing is sent anywhere. If you refuse the camera, a camera mission becomes Count the acorns. You can also pick a mission without a camera in the alarm editor. See the privacy policy.

What is free, and what is Dozy Plus?

Free forever: one alarm, one mission per alarm, the three free missions (Smile at Dozy, Shake Dozy awake, Count the acorns), three alarm sounds, streaks, the progress calendar, the share card, widgets, the starter decor and most of the burrow shop.

Dozy Plus adds unlimited alarms, all nine missions, up to three missions on one alarm, the wake-up check, five more alarm sounds and a few Plus decor items.

What is the wake-up check?

A Dozy Plus feature. A few minutes after the mission, Dozy quietly asks "Still up?". If you do not answer within two minutes, the alarm rings again. The question can arrive as a notification, so allow notifications for Dozy if you use it.

How do I restore my purchase?

Tap "Restore purchases" in the paywall or in Settings (the gear on the Burrow tab). Use the same Apple Account you bought Dozy Plus with.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and pick Dozy. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. More in the terms.

How do streaks work?

• Every morning you finish your mission adds a day to your streak.
• A day with no alarm set does not break the streak.
• A missed morning resets the streak.
• Dozy keeps his acorns and his decor either way. Nothing you earned is taken away.
